The city of El Monte is the 9th largest city in the County of Los Angeles. It has 2 major freeways and is popularly known as the hub of the San Gabriel Valley. The city of El Monte’s land use can be best described as being 58% residential, 10% industrial, 11% retail, 7% office based and 14% on amenities.
