The City of Jurupa Valley is located right beside Eastvale. In 1992, the residents tried to incorporate the region as a city with a vote, but a majority of voters decided against it. However, in 2011, a majority of voters were in favor of the incorporation and Jurupa Valley was officially recognized as a city. It has an estimated population of 103,541.
