CITY OF RIVERSIDE

The 12th most populous city in California and the county seat in Riverside County, the City of Riverside is a place bursting with life and vigor. The population of the city, as per the 2010 census, is 303,871. Named after the Santa Ana River, it was incorporated in the 1870s. The city is the birthplace of California’s citrus industry and is home to the last two of the original navel orange trees.

If you have an interest living and working in the city and need to build your home there, or simply wish to invest in a residential or commercial project in the lively area, you need to send over your structural plans to the Riverside Community Development Department. You can reach them at their official number, (951) 826 5371, or at their office on 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522. However, if you proceed with no prior guidance, there is a high chance that your project may be rejected. And the reason may not even be a flaw in your project per se. Most of the times, a single word or phrase placed in the wrong place can completely change the legal meaning, and this ambiguity leads to rejection.

The Eden Group can help you avoid this situation. Our civil and structural engineers in Riverside have been working with the city’s Planning Department for many years. They have developed and presented drainage plans, grading plans, street improvement plans and hydrology plans for numerous clients and cinched approval. Reach out to our experts to get your plan approval underway today!
